Mnemonic Protocol
A sci-fi psychological mini-series told in five TikTok-format episodes — AI-generated video with field journal voiceover.
Overview
Mnemonic Protocol is a sci-fi psychological mini-short told in five brief episodes, designed for TikTok-format vertical distribution. Each episode combines AI-generated video with a field journal voiceover narration, creating an immersive atmospheric experience in compact bursts.
Technical Approach
Visual Generation — First frames generated using the Alvdansen Mooniverse model, establishing a consistent visual style grounded in surreal, dreamlike sci-fi imagery. Full video sequences generated using Luma’s Dream Machine, extending the initial frames into motion while preserving the Mooniverse aesthetic.
Voice & Sound — Dialogue and narration produced with ElevenLabs, delivering a field journal voiceover style that grounds the surreal visuals in a recognizable narrative register — the clinical tone of someone documenting something they don’t fully understand.
Narrative Structure — Five episodes, each self-contained but building a cumulative psychological arc. The constraint of TikTok-length episodes forced tight, deliberate storytelling where every second earns its place.
